In a survey of 2,800 US consumers, an amazing 53% said they would be happy to share their location if it meant they could get local deals and offers on their mobile devices.
This is a clear signal that consumers understand the advantage of accessing local information—literally at their fingertips.
According to the JiWire report, the tool that mobile shoppers would be most interested in is price comparison (31%). And close behind is the ability to find promotions and sales within a mile of their current location (29%).
