Only a few years ago, small businesses were reticent to go online at all and weren’t ‘sure’ about the medium. Now, according to a new spending forecast published by BIA/Kelsey, it looks that SMB’s will devote an amazing 70% of their marketing budgets to digital and online media.
- From 2010 to 2015, small businesses spending for media and marketing will grow from $22.4 billion to $40.2 billion, a 12% compound annual growth.
- During the same period, traditional advertising for SMB will remain flat while spending on digital/online media will grow from $5.4 billion in 2010 to $16.6 billion in 2015.
