Mashable shares the news that QR codes have come to the film industry.
Fox Searchlight is exclusively using QR codes to roll out a campaign for its new movie Martha Marcy May Marlene which will be in the theaters on October 21.
QR codes have been put on all ad materials like posters and theatre standees in both New York City and Los Angeles. When you scan the QR code, it will take you to two separate film trailers.
This is a first for both QR codes and the film industry.
